Tanamina cocopeat commitment to quality

Coconut Husk Aging (Natural EC Reduction)
Before processing, the coconut husks are naturally aged in a well-drained open area for 1–3 months. Exposure to rain, sunlight, airflow, and humidity allows excess salts (Na, K, Cl) and tannins to leach out naturally. The husks are turned regularly for even exposure. This step lowers the initial EC significantly and reduces the need for intensive washing during production.

Hygiene Control
Cocopeat is washed repeatedly with clean water in large washing tanks to further reduce EC levels, remove excess tannins, and eliminate fine dust. This step enables Tanamina to achieve very low EC specifications required by modern horticulture.

Factory Water Quality (EC Control)
The factory uses groundwater sourced from deep drilling with a stable EC level of 78–82 µS/cm. (approximately 0.078–0.082 mS/cm), indicating a low level of dissolved salts and making it highly suitable for the cocopeat washing process.
With this relatively low EC characteristic, the well water effectively supports the reduction of salt content during the washing stage of cocopeat production. For final laboratory testing, RO water is used to ensure accurate EC measurement. The combination of lowEC well water for washing and RO water for testing enables Tanamina to consistently achieve cocopeat that meets low EC standards required by professional horticultural markets.

Tanamina corncob's commitment to quality

Initial Sun Drying
The selected corncobs are then spread out under direct sunlight in an open, clean area to naturally reduce their initial moisture content, allowing excess surface water to evaporate while maintaining the natural structure of the material

Rotary Dryer Sterilization
The ground corncob is then fed directly into a rotary dryer where it is sterilized at a controlled temperature of 110–130°C, effectively eliminating pathogens, fungi, and harmful microorganisms while preserving the structural integrity and quality of the material for safe agricultural application.
Tanamina NutriGold commitment to quality
Why Tanamina NutriGold Applies Calcium Nitrate to Cocopeat
Tanamina NutriGold is formulated by combining naturally processed low EC cocopeat with organic NPK compost to create a balanced growing medium that supports both physical root development and nutritional needs. After the cocopeat reaches a low EC level through natural processing and drying, a light and even application of calcium nitrate (Ca(NO₃)₂) is sprayed onto the cocopeat before blending. This step allows essential nutrients to bind directly to the cocopeat fibers, making them readily available for root uptake while minimizing nutrient loss to the soil or groundwater. The purpose of this approach is not only to improve nutrient efficiency for plants but also to help preserve the soil and environmental ecosystem by ensuring controlled, responsible nutrient delivery.

Uncompromising quality control
At Tanamina, every product undergoes strict and consistent quality control at each stage of the process from raw material selection to final packaging to ensure cleanliness, uniformity, safety, and performance that meet international horticultural standards.
